This emphasis on New Mexico film making has brought the White Sands International Film Festival (WSIFF) to the Las Cruces area.
One of the things that my wife Karen and I enjoy doing on Saturday mornings in Las Cruces is to visit the Las Cruces Farmers' Market. The market recently moved from an older part of the downtown Las Cruces main street to the newly renovated portion. Since we hadn't been in a while, we decided to go down this past weekend and check it out.

The 2009 Picacho Hills Art in the Garden Tour is an exclusive neighborhood event free to Picacho Hills residents and their guests. This event promotes Picacho Hills resident artists while showcasing neighborhood gardens.
